Lindsay grew up in a Christian home but did not begin a personal relationship with Jesus until her sophomore year at the University of Missouri. Lindsay engaged with those around her to develop a clearer understanding of a relationship with Jesus and had the opportunity to attend a Student Mobilization Summer Project in 2021. Throughout the last two years of college, she learned what it meant to share the Gospel and make disciples on a college campus. Now moving forward, she is extremely excited to help pioneer the team in Cape Town, South Africa and see the Kingdom of God grow across the college campuses!

Although I grew up in a Christian home, an intimate relationship with God was not my priority. In moving to college, my separation from God only grew stronger as I continued to work for the approval of others and myself. In experiencing the result of sin in my life, I began to feel the tugging on my heart to open my Bible and begin to go to church. In 2020, God transformed my life as I was faced with Jesus in the gospel. I finally began to understand what Christ’s life, death, and resurrection have done for me and how it has now called me to live. The Lord then surrounded me with Christian community and fellowship within Campus Outreach. As my walk with Christ was spurred on through discipleship, I began to see what significance discipleship plays in the Great Commission. Since my love for the youth and the lost world has grown stronger by the day, I know God has called me to the great privilege of bringing the gospel right to them in Cape Town, South Africa!

Wiseman and Olivia are excited to join the new team in Cape Town after having served the ministry of Campus Outreach in Johannesburg and in pastoral ministry. Wiseman came to faith through the ministry of Campus Outreach while playing rugby at the University of Johannesburg. Olivia was introduced to the ministry of Campus Outreach through the local church she was serving in and has faithfully labored and made disciples since joining the Campus Outreach staff team. They met through the ministry and married in February 2021; in March 2022, they welcomed their son, Josiah Thembekile. Wiseman and Olivia are convinced about the significance of making disciples and its impact on their country. They look forward to their new chapter in Cape Town with Campus Outreach and are trusting God to use them to make disciples on the university campus.

Maddie was born and raised in Southeast Missouri by Christian parents. Despite growing up in the church, she never really had a faith that was personal until God, in His perfect timing, captured her heart during her freshman year of college at the University of Missouri. Maddie quickly saw God growing her heart for the nations throughout her time in college, and she knew she wanted to be a part of God’s mission to reach the lost world after college. She spent two years in Johannesburg, South Africa engaging students with the gospel, and now she’s excited to continue that work in Cape Town, South Africa as she helps with the launch of a new Campus Outreach ministry as a LEAD Supervisor.

Connor grew up going to church but did not have a personal relationship with Christ until he went to a Bible study with some guys involved with CO. He graduated from UT Dallas and went into the workforce in Colorado but kept feeling God call him to multiply his life through discipleship. Through an answered prayer, God provided him the opportunity to serve in Pretoria, South Africa for two years. This time confirmed and strengthened his desire to continue giving his life to sharing the Gospel and discipling the next generation of laborers wherever the Lord would have him. Now he has the opportunity to continue that work by helping launch a new Campus Outreach ministry in Cape Town, South Africa, where he’ll get to serve as a LEAD Supervisor. Please prayerfully consider joining him in raising up the next generation of African leaders!
