Chad & Mandy Mary
Chad and Mandy were involved with Campus Outreach as students at Arkansas State University. They joined staff and were married in 2004, and together, for the past 15 years have been serving with the Indianapolis region. From 2004-2010, they were reaching and discipling students at the University of Southern Indiana. Since 2010, Chad has been serving as the Director of Mobilization, in which he helps prepare and send students into the world to make an impact for Jesus. In light of the vast need for laborers around the world and the strategic nature of the location, they are preparing to lead a team to the United Kingdom. Chad and Mandy have four children: Evie, William, Annie, and Lottie.
Tierra grew up in Wisconsin and received a lot of head knowledge of Jesus, but did not understand what it meant to truly live for Christ. During her sophomore year at the University of Kansas, a college ministry helped her to understand the impact of the Gospel and that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross covered her sins. She accepted Christ and her global perspective grew. God veered her heart towards laboring overseas. Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go…” has influenced her to be interruptible for the glory of God and His kingdom and to share her faith and make disciples. She is excited and honored for the opportunity of moving to England with CO LEAD and to see people come to know the Lord.
Born and raised in St. Louis, I grew up in an amazing Christian home before heading to Birmingham, Alabama to attend Samford University and study biology. While in school, I got involved with Campus Outreach where God deepened my relationship with Him and gave me a passion for evangelism and discipleship. Matthew 9:37 says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” As my love for Jesus grew, it became clear that a relationship with Jesus Christ is the greatest gift you can give to anyone and that I want to dedicate my life to sharing that gift with as many people as possible! I am so excited to be a part of the London Team and have the opportunity to take the gospel to college students from all over the world!
I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home that was involved in Campus Outreach. Like so many others, however, I never fully understood the sacrifice of the cross and God’s grace until high school. This was just the beginning. When I went to Samford I knew I wanted to get involved in CO. God perfectly orchestrated my interactions with the staff and the CO community! Through my time at Samford, I had the opportunity to go on Summer Projects and a Cross-Cultural Project. Through these opportunities, I gained such depth in my relationship with the Lord and was constantly challenged to pursue Him more deeply. I am excited and humbled to have the opportunity to be that light for others!
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Gabe eventually made his way to Manhattan, Kansas, where he studied Computer Science at Kansas State University. The summer after his freshman year at a summer project with Student Mobilization, Gabe came to know what it meant to have a true relationship with God. Gabe spent the next three years learning more and more about what it meant to make disciples on a university campus while involved with Student Mobilization at K-State and is extremely excited to help pioneer the team in London, England and take the Gospel to students in the United Kingdom.
Growing up in the “Bible Belt”, I was blessed to have been raised in a God-fearing home. God changed my life at a young age through salvation by his Grace alone through the atoning death of His son, Jesus. The Holy Spirit entered my heart and began transforming it for His purposes. The main purpose being the Great Commission. I was able to be a part of a great ministry in college and grew in my faith learning how to evangelize and make disciples. I got experience doing this in college but also with internationals stateside and abroad. I felt God’s calling to GO overseas for missions to reach the nations. Through doors being providentially opened, I accepted a ministry position in London!
