I grew up in church, and I always knew about the gospel and Jesus. However, I had some basic misconceptions about what it meant to follow Him personally that I didn’t realize until my freshman year of college. Since then, I have grown in my excitement for reaching non-Christians with the gospel, and I believe that Campus Outreach’s model of reaching the nations by building laborers on the college campus for the lost world is very effective. I love the idea of raising up indigenous leaders, and I believe that it is the most effective way to make sustainable disciple-making movements. I look forward to spending 2 years in Manila sharing with and discipling men to love the Lord, disciple other men, lead their families well, and reach the nations with the gospel!
