I grew up in a Spiritist family. I didn’t believe the Bible was all true or that Jesus was God. Until college, I had never even read the Bible, and what I knew about Jesus came from the Spiritist teachings my family and community preached - that Jesus was just an evolved being whose example we should all follow. God used my first two years in college to break me and show me that I could not have victory over my sin in my own strength and that only He could satisfy me. After two years of investigating and trying to understand who Jesus was through Campus Outreach, God opened my eyes to His truth, that Jesus is God and that my sins have been paid for on the cross! Today, as I build relationships with lost college students, I hope to reflect the love of Jesus and that they would come to know Him and have their lives transformed by Him just like I experienced!
