I grew up in a Christian home and was baptized when I was young, but I was not fully aware as to what it looked like to wholly live for Christ. I thought that I could earn God’s love by being the “good kid,” and that became my idol. Both at the end of my high school career and at the start of my college journey was when God put faithful men in my life who began to teach me the fullness of God’s grace. Since then, I have had many opportunities to serve the Lord, including discipling other men at Troy, working with students over-seas in Brazil, and spending my senior year building relationships with international students. In these opportunities I have seen the need for engaging international students with the gospel, and my desire to be a part. Campus Outreach has provided this unique opportunity for me to do that at Troy University.
